- Put up a fight. Keep your handbag zipped and your wallet close to you to deter leering eyes.
- Don’t leave your shopping cart’s side. It’s cold and dangerous without you there to guard it.
- Have a cell phone on hand for emergencies, but don’t allow it to distract you from suspicious characters.
