Neighbours Night Out is a street party! This event supports recognizing Neighbourhood Watch volunteers, increasing community awareness about safety in your neighbourhood and recruits individuals to champion new Neighbourhood Watches.

Individuals host a neighbourhood gathering on their street, backyard or community gathering spot to get to know their neighbours. This tradition is a reminder that when neighbours join together, they can and do effectively deter crime.

Chief Metcalf writes,

"Apathy allows crime to flourish, but by becoming more familiar with each other, it is easier to spot suspicious activities or persons in the neighbourhood. Your participation in Neighbours Night Out will make a difference in your community."

By supporting the Neighbours Night Out you will be involved in a city-wide awareness campaign designed to reach every Mississauga resident and business to inspire an active role in the fight against crime. Before the Event, your Company may provide flyers, promotional products, etc., for the organizational kit that we will send to everyone who registers to host their neighbourhood. Your company will be highlighted on our website and within our public relations and media materials.

The night of the Event, your Company will be invited to our media event location on the 16th and will be recognized as a valued sponsor; After the event, your Company’s name, brand and promotional products will accompany our Knights as they make appearances in the community and throughout Mississauga’s schools.
